Potomac Bank Appoints Alison A. Cox Chair of the Eastern Panhandle Advisory Board

CHARLES TOWN, WV, February 24, 2026 / (OTCID:PTBS) – Potomac Bank recently announced the appointment of Alison A. Cox as Chair of its Advisory Board for the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. The Advisory Board consists of community leaders who work and live in Berkeley County and Jefferson County, West Virginia. The members provide strategic advice to Potomac Bank regarding local economies, with an emphasis on the Eastern Panhandle region of West Virginia.

Ms. Cox is an attorney for Bowles Rice LLP in their Martinsburg, West Virginia, office. As a member of the firm’s Tax Team, her practice focuses on assisting individuals and business owners with matters related to estate planning, estate and trust administration, and elder law.  She previously served as the staff attorney for West Virginia Senior Legal Aid, Inc., advocating for the rights of West Virginia’s senior population including advising on issues regarding Medicaid, estate planning, wills, powers of attorney, property rights, consumer affairs and guardianship.  Ms. Cox also serves on the Board of Directors for Hospice of the Panhandle, CASA of the Eastern Panhandle, WVU Hospitals East Foundation, and Martinsburg Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce.
