How it works

  • Wherever Visa® is accepted, worldwide, you may use your Potomac Bank Visa® Debit Card.
  • Funds are immediately withdrawn from your checking account.
  • Tap, swipe, or insert – whatever terminal a merchant uses, your Debit Card will work.
  • Select the signature approval option for more security.
  • There is a limit on cumulative purchase amounts in a 24 hour period.  See your branch or contact the Client Care Center at 1-800-296-8431 for details.
  • There is a limit on cumulative cash withdrawals in a 24 hour period.  See your branch or contact the Client Care Center at 1-800-296-8431 for details.
  • If a purchase exceeds the daily limit, the transaction will be declined.
