BCT-Bank of Charles Town Promotes Erin Owens to Assistant Branch Manager of Kearneysville Branch

CHARLES TOWN, WV, February 8, 2023 (OTC:PTBS) – BCT-Bank of Charles Town, also known as The Community’s Bank, recently announced the promotion of Erin Owens to the position of Assistant Branch Manager of the Kearneysville branch office located at 5480 Charles Town Road. Ms. Owens will lead the staff of this unique branch that is a drive-through-only service facility. In addition, Ms. Owens will provide support for Branch Operations that is also located at this facility.

Ms. Owens is a BCT success story. In 2021, she began her BCT career while a student at Shepherd University, working as a part-time Teller.  Within six months she was promoted to part-time Universal Banker.  Soon thereafter, Ms. Owens entered the company’s Banker Development program.  After graduating from college, Ms. Owens remained with BCT and moved to a full-time Universal Banker position and also provided Training Support for Branch Operations, which was her most recent position prior to being promoted to Assistant Branch Manager.

Community involvement is important to Ms. Owens.  She serves on the BCTCares Foundation service team, supporting food-insecure children and families within our local communities.  She also is a member of the Johnsontown Church of the Brethren. 

Ms. Owens earned a Bachelor’s degree from Shepherd University in May 2022, majoring in Psychology.  While there, she was a member of the prestigious Emerging Leaders in Service. 

An avid reader, Ms. Owens enjoys traveling and visiting with family.  She makes her home in Berkeley County, West Virginia.
